The information about the upcoming Euro collapse and the preparations the elites are taking to preserve their booty–and more importantly, their power–are there, if you look for them.
From Germany’s Der Spiegal news magazine, 20 April (how ominous a date for this to be published):
Germany and France are serious this time. During next week’s meeting of European Union interior ministers, the two countries plan to start a discussion about reintroducing national border controls within the Schengen zone. According to the German daily Süddeutsche Zeitung, German Interior Minister Hans-Peter Friedrich and his French counterpart, Claude Guéant, have formulated a letter to their colleagues in which they call for governments to once again be allowed to control their borders as “an ultima ratio” — that is, measure of last resort — “and for a limited period of time.” They reportedly go on to recommend 30-days for the period.
This story has been almost completely ignored by the mainstream media. Think about it: the cover story of border presevation is to prevent actual illegal immigrants from crossing? There isn’t enough illegal transits to worry France and Germany.
What gives up ithe real story is the timing. There is nothing even close to the importance of the EU collapse, coming later this summer.
The elites want to make sure physical and legal barriers are in place now to stop their citizens from fleeing across the borders from a place of doom (France) to a place of safety (Germnay) in a few weeks or months.
The move to create border controls is about one thing only: stopping people from fleeing with their money when the collapse comes this summer The political elite in Europe are watching the bank runs in Spain and Greece and know that when the big crash comes similar runs will occur throughout the EU, including the big nations.
Think of the incredible visuals we will be seeing on the tube and on the Internet, most likely first courtesy of Drudge:
- TV crews at the French-German border crossings, with wealthy Frenchmen driving BMWs not being allowed to cross the border because they have thousands of cash Euros illegally in the car.
- FAMAS-toting French internal security police at Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris, and their H&K-armed German counterparts in Frankfort, searching those travelers coming through customs. And all being caught on hundreds of smartphone cameras.
All both scenes just need to make it official are the the barking, leashed German shephard police dogs.
All scenes of something nightmarish out of a Europe we all hoped would never come back.
But, let’s be honest, we all knew was right below the surface, just waiting for the right moment, which now looks like it is finally here.
It should be interesting to see what happens when this nasty wave of financial sewage washs up on the shores of the United States.
And it will be doubly interesting to see what our own government does, and what our citizens do in response. The smart money in government would soft-sell the reaction. But you never know–the idiots might just push the envelope. They’re delusional, so they might just go beyond the pale and enrage a lot of desperate people with an overreach.
That’s when the fun will begin. “Lock and load,” as they say.
Shit…and I will be in southern Europe in three weeks. It may be a VERY interesting vacation and work assignment.
